Justin Neil Gaynor obtained the Florida Merit Scholarship which afforded him entrance into Northwood University after completing the requirements to graduate from Deltona High School/DBCC in only 3 years. While at Northwood University, Justin worked as many as three jobs simultaniously including managment positions and an internship with Scottrade Financial, which is where he went on to begin his career in management, banking and finance after graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2002 with his Bachelors Degree in Finance and Management. While at University, he also worked with the Children's Home Society of West Palm Beach as a mentor.
It was always the dream of Justin's mom, Tina D. Pine, to build her own restaurant from the ground up. When he was around 12 years old, she realized that dream and launched the Countryside Cafe' in Orange City, FL. He started working as a dishwasher, host, and cook at 12 years of age and continued to work in his family's business until 1998, as he prepared to leave for Northwood University. The experience working in this capacity would lay the foundation for a lifelong focus on serving people well, with trademark Southern hospitality.
While studying at Northwood University, Justin met the friend of one of his roommates. Joel, a gentleman from Argentina, was graduating ahead of Justin and returning to his home country. He had been doing an internship at Scottrade Financial (Scottsdale Securities back then) and invited Justin to meet the branch manager to see if he would be a good replacement for him. Justin was working a couple other jobs at the time, such as Asst. Manager of Blockbuster Video and Pacific Sunwear. However, Ken Miceli hired him as a paid intern and that turned into more than a two year intense dive into the middle of the advent of the online trading industry and turned into a 14 year journey as Justin ascended to become one of the firm's youngest Branch Managers. During his tenure, he led top performing branches in Coral Springs, Boca Raton, and launched the Boynton Beach office, which was also a top tier branch in Scottrade's network of more than 500 branches.
As Justin's career with Scottrade Financial was coming to a close, shortly before they were acquired by TD Ameritrade, he launched a small community fellowship in the neighborhood of Venetian Isles in Boynton Beach, FL. The neighborhood outreach included a teaching ministry aimed at sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples. This would become Justin's passion and after his career with Scottrade ended would carry Justin to the hometown of his mom, who had recently passed. There, in Statesville, NC, Justin connected with Tannis H. Gladden at South River Baptist Church. She was the Events Coordinator for Brookdale Peachtree and it was there that Justin began a three year investment ministering to the seniors of Statesville as his primary vocation. This service was rendered on a volunteer basis, so Justin worked various odd jobs to support the ministry. These jobs included things like washing dishes, prep-cook, server, processing donations at Goodwill, and customer service at a pool store. EKKLESIA continues today as various opportunities for ministry present themselves.
After returning to Florida, a friend from Freedom Church of the Palm Beaches, Bill Bateskas, introduced Justin to Tim Salopek, the owner of Illumination FL. Tim hired Justin as a Business Development Manager for his growing landscape lighting company. It was in this role that Justin re-discovered the entrepreneurial spirit that had been nurtured in him at Northwood University. A desire to help business folks like his mom and Tim build strong, fruitful businesses began to grow in Justin's heart. After about 9 months helping Tim as an employee, Justin approached Tim with the idea of General Media Consulting Co. This company would be able to provide the same services Justin was already providing to Illumination FL, but for far less expense to the company, and it would free Justin up to take on more clients and help more people. Illumination FL became the first customer of General Media Consulting when Justin opened the doors in January of 2020. The firm went on, and continues, to help entrepreneurs in all sorts of fields. From home services, to restaurants, real estate agents to t-shirt printers.
As Justin was helping entrepreneurs build strong, fruitful businesses, he kept running into situations where his clients needed to aquire or dispose of real property. Rather than continue handing off these real estate deals with no ability to earn a commission or referral fee, Justin decided to obtain his Florida Real Estate license. He reached out to Al Leonard, an Irish Catholic Banker that used to work with the same bank his family always dealt with in business, Barnett Bank. Mr. Leonard had gotten into real estate and had been teaching the 63 hour course required for the license for something like 20 years. Once Justin was licensed, his first transaction was a 1031 Exchange for a $1.386 million property. This transaction inspired a little more intense focus on the real estate business than Justin started out with. At least on the residential side. The people Justin met and became friends with, as well as the profitability were both motivating forces for Justin to allocate more time and energy to his real estate business. Eventually, Justin transferred his license to an Active-Referral Only status with Atlantic Partners Referral Realty, LLC so he could focus more on his core business, consulting and business coaching.
Working as a REALTOR with Keller Williams put Justin in contact with an old friend from Deltona High School who had gotten into the mortgage business. After a few conversations, Justin was inspired to expand his offerings to include mortgage financing. He took the necessary classes and passed the Florida state exam to become a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator. As he was searching for a Mortgage Brokerage to partner with , it was a challenging time for the mortgage industry. Justin was able to connect with Mortgage Network Solutions based out of Delaware and work remotely here in Florida. They offered Justin excellent training and access to industry leading technology. This strategic move also re-positioned Justin well within the vocation that his higher education had prepared him for. Remember, Justin's Bachelor degree from Northwood University was in Banking and Finance.
When Justin was launching General Media Consulting in South Florida, he was part of a local business networking group that met at Common Grounds Brew and Roastery in Lake Worth Beach. It was there that Justin met James and Jackie Buchanan. They had gotten involved with PRIMERICA and once they heard about Justin's background in financial services, they invited him to consider connecting with PRIMERICA. It took a few years; however, when Justin's business needs and career goals aligned (Justin had relocated to New Smyrna Beach) James introduced Justin to Ray Krutz, the owner of the Ormond Beach PRIMERICA office. Ray became Justin's mentor in building his independent financial services business with PRIMERICA. In addition to being able to help people with income protection (term life insurance) and investments (Savings, Mutual Funds and Retirement Accounts), Justin was also able to consolidate his Mortgage Loan Origination license to PRIMERICA Mortgage, a Pinnacle Partner with Rocket Mortgage...the nation's largest lenders.

As a member of the Southeast Volusia Chamber of Commerce Justin has an opportunity to connect with and engage local business leaders to collectively strengthen the local economy and community. The Southeast Volusia Chamber offers numerous networking events, community involvement activities, and government affairs interaction that promotes the interests of the local business community.
After speaking at a Young Entrepreneur's Academy event at St. Andrew's School in Boca Raton on the importance of leveraging a formal written Mission and Vision Statement, Justin was introduced to Michael Thomas who heads the FAU Business Mentoring Program. Since then, Justin has mentored five students over the last four school years. It has been tremendously fruitful and he's seen the students he worked with go on to some truly impressive careers in everything from consulting for Ernst and Young to acquiring and operating a health supplement business.
Beach House Church is a small Christian congregation located in Daytona Beach with the aim of sharing the hope they have in Jesus with the beachside of Daytona, showing God's love by the way they love one another, and helping everyone on their journey of faith. On most Sunday mornings, Justin arrives early to start the coffee pots, get all of the audio / visual equipment up and running, and operate the presentation program for the service, and sometimes he does some work on the soundboard.
